Following the working group meeting in Gothenburg in December 2011, a small group has been formed to work on defining a robust model for describing qualitative data, from data collection to archiving to re-use, convened by Arofan Gregory and Louise Corti. At the Bergen meeting, held prior to EDDI12 meeting, progress was made to create a representative model, depicted by three class view diagrams (thanks to Larry Hoylel for his tireless work on this) plus detailed definitions of objects and their properties and relationships. The model and definitions will be available for external review in late January, so do watch this space.
